Gift Aid Admission Explained
The Gift Aid Admission prices suggested above include a voluntary donation. If you are a UK taxpayer this enables us to claim 25% tax back as part of the Government's Gift Aid scheme.
We are a registered charity, and your extra donation helps us to provide educational activities and exhibitions as well as continue the preservation and communication of the Forest of Dean's unique heritage. We are reliant on the support of volunteers and donors for our survival.
Gage Library: If you have made an appointment and only wish to visit the library then there is a reduced charge of £5. This is by appointment only.
Car parking is available with additional disabled spaces.
There is no charge for parking but if you are not visiting the Centre we would really appreciate a donation to help towards the upkeep of the car park. It's a great starting point for walks in the area.
*Dogs are allowed in the DHC's car park, shop, Creates Coffee Shop and Terrace(on a lead) but only guide and assistance dogs are allowed into the Museum and onto the main site.
If you cross the road from our car park entrance, a walk around Soudley Ponds is one of the most beautiful in the area. * The restriction on dogs is imposed by our insurer due to the nature of our museum collection and the children’s trail in the grounds.
Senior Tuesdays - £2.00 off Concession entrance price (Includes Gift Aid and Non-Gift Aid prices) Discount available to +60s on Tuesdays' only.
Rainy Day Guarantee - The Dean Heritage Centre has both indoor and outdoor exhibits and activities. If you cannot access the outdoor areas of our site due to heavy rain and flooding then we will give you a voucher to come back again, when the weather is better, Free of Charge. The voucher will be valid for a month.
Under 16's are not permitted in the Centre without adult supervision.
