A weekend of activities to encourage wildlife into your gardens.

Saturday 11am and 1.30 - 3pm- Gardening for Wildlife with Dr Jane Taylor RSPB Champion.

Jane Taylor brings a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge - 30 years experience working in ecology and wildlife gardening. She was  awarded a Silver Medal at RHS Chelsea in 2012 as part of the Reading University team, where she was researching both the human and wildlife benefits of gardening. Jane has worked with lots of organisation to help them make the best of their green spaces including the NHS. Focusing on easy and practical solutions to help you make your garden a fun and welcoming place for everyone - including our local wildlife . Jane will bring lots of ideas to help you make your garden what you want it to be - and help you encourage lots of feathered friends too!

11am: Introductory talk and Gardening for wildlife question time in the Meeting Room

1.30pm - Open surgery- Book a 10 minute slot with Jane to discuss your garden - bring pictures!

You can book your space by calling the Centre. 

There will be activities in the Craft Hut all weekend

Bug box making & bird feeders with Ken 11am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3.30 pm Saturday and Sunday

Seed bombs - Saturday and Sunday

Plant a strawberry - Saturday

Art and crafts Saturday and Sunday

Amanda Cox will be in the craft hut on Sunday 11am to 1pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm helping visitors create wildlife masterpieces.

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Men in Sheds and members of the Bream Gardening Society will also be joining us on Saturday and Sunday.
