Christmas at the Dean Heritage Centre 18th to 23rd December 2021
This year add a little Forest magic to your celebrations and join us to enjoy a variety of Christmas activities in our beautiful Forest setting.
From the 18th to 23rd December Father Christmas will be taking time out to spend some time in our cosy Forester’s Cottage. You will find him in the homely kitchen keeping warm by the range fire and of course he will have gifts for all the children who visit him. It will be an ideal opportunity to make sure all letters and requests for Christmas presents are given to the great man himself before Christmas Eve. All visits must be pre-booked.
Please call the Centre on 01594 822170, email email@example.com or send us a message via Facebook to book a visit to Father Christmas.
15 minute slots available from 10:30 with 5 minutes cleaning time between each visit, the last booking is at 14:50.
Prices: Children aged 3 and over - £7.50 (includes a gift from Father Christmas)
Children aged 1 - 3 - £5.00 (includes a gift from Father Christmas)
Children under 1- free (and of course Father Christmas will have a gift for them too!)
Adults bringing children to see Father Christmas - £5.00
All adults must wear masks when visiting Father Christmas in the cottage. All current Covid restrictions/guidelines will be adhered to so that everyone is kept safe during the visit.
Whilst you are here visit the craft hut to make something wonderful with local artist Amanda Cox or create something festive with our facilitators using natural resources. Explore the galleries to look for missing presents from Father Christmas’s sack and visit the Gruffalo’s Child who has returned to visit the Gruffalo once again.
Take time to enjoy delicious Christmas fare in the Coffee shop or pre-book from our festive menu.
Our new look gift shop is packed with great products and is an ideal opportunity to shop for a Christmas gift that is a little different. We stock unique, locally produced, quality items, a range of local gifts and books and there are plenty of toys and collectables to appeal to our younger visitors which would make perfect stocking fillers.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Dean Heritage Centre to enjoy the festive season.
