Brass Band Heritage Weekend

A Weekend of Brass Band Heritage, featuring live performances from Cinderford Brass Band, an exhibition of Forest brass band history and an opportunity for members of the public to play instruments and find out about how to learn to play a brass instrument. In conjunction with the Collections Officer DHC and a brass band historian, members of the public will be able to bring in artefacts to have them examined and recorded. There will be opportunities to play an instrument and learn how to join the several training bands in the Forest that welcome new players.
