Poultry for the Petrified - Saturday 7th April

10am - 3pm

A practical session to give the aspiring chicken keeper the tools and experience needed to get started.

1. Choosing the breeds for your needs 2. Poultry housing and space requirments and costs. 3. Feeding and dietary needs. 4. Hygeine, welfare and handling. 5. Pests, predators and disease. 6. Chicken behaviour, the pecking order, broodiness and cockerels.

Cost £40 per person, including tea and cake.

Saturday 2nd - Monday 4th June
Celebrating its 5th birthday this year, Fire & Wood will see an array of woodland activities, chainsaw carving demonstrations and a traditional charcoal burn.
