February 2017

13th - 19th February

HALF TERM ACTIVITIES

This February half term the Dean Heritage Centre is going back to its roots. Throughout the week visitors can join us in a celebration of trees, discover their birth tree, create a wooden keyring to take home, explore with in and outdoor tree inspired trails.
Facilitator led workshops taking place include making a bug box to help support a happy, healthy eco system, tissue tree art and Celtic life and lore. We are also pleased to support Tree Charter UK which is leading a campaign to celebrate the trees we love but could lose to climate change. Hang a heart with a message on a tree you love and share your photos on-line #TreeCharter#ShowTheLove.
